Forms and Force

Exhibited at Kunstmatrix Artspace and St Francis Art Space Melbourne.

Forms and force, is my new series of recent paintings, bound together by colourful forms, pattern and space to explore abstract compositions, whilst unpacking my hopes, fears, inspirations and perceptions of daily life.

My paintings are closely linked to the everyday experiences that circumnavigate me at varying speeds and influence my perception. Physical and emotional forces of varying intensities are reflected in the colours, forms and dynamism of this body of work.

The last eight months have been a roller coaster of emotive peaks and troughs, the daily spikes in stress speed up or slow down the acceleration of experiences happening around me. This heightening or subduing of emotional charge is reflected in the diversity and vibrancy of my paintings.
